If you somehow found your way to this page, welcome, and I hope you don’t mind the occasional swear word. If we are connected on any social media, you probably already know this about me.
Swearing is good for you. Not my opinion, it’s a fact. I know it’s true because I read it in an issue of Psychology Today (author Neel Burton, MD). I did some research on this after a particularly colorful outburst when I dropped a jar of jam on my pinky toe. The jar was ok. My toe was not.
Speaking of research, I did some quick research before writing this first blog post – and all the experts agree – the first blog post should be short and to the point. I’m told that I should introduce myself, let my readers know why and what I will be writing about, encourage questions and invite you back…..so here goes:
1. Hi, I’m Tracy. There’s a little blurb about me on the welcome page. Read that. But a quick summary: I'm a mom who has lost her child. It's a journey I wish on no one. Life Goes On though, and we have to learn how to go on with it.
2. I literally have no idea what I will be writing about – maybe this is the “Jerry Seinfeld” of blogs, you know, the blog about nothing. I write because I enjoy it (same with swearing), because it helps me connect with others (yep, swearing helps here too) and it helps process grief and healing (swearing…especially the F word…really helps here!) and I write because it helps me find hope. Hell yeah it does!
3. All of this writing about nothing has helped me find hope every day. So, I thought I’d write it down here and this is the part where I invite your comments, questions and ask you to come back. So please come back here regularly and let’s connect about nothing and everything and maybe even HOPE. Then, Let’s Shine It Forward.

I joined this blog because.......well........you know I think......well maybe...... just maybe I may be able to learn how to properly include swear words in a written blog........lord knows I am a pro when it comes to fussing cussing, and such especially the f word so here tis.
